Hello! My name is Alyssa,

Here at Avery, my goal is to empower students, build confidence and achieve success in their education with patience, understanding and targeted interventions.

I gained a lot of experience researching in multiple labs while completing my Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Psychology at UBC Okanagan. In my clinical experiences, I assisted children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and intellectual disabilities.

In my journey to become a school psychologist, I am currently enrolled in the MEd in School & Applied Child Psychology program at the University of Calgary Werklund School.
