Hello, I'm Laura!

As an educator, my hope is not only to spark a love for learning, but also to create a lasting and positive impact on the students I work with!

While I was growing up, my mom taught preschool in her dayhome and I was able to assist her. This experience inspired me to pursue a career in teaching. Witnessing children discover how enjoyable learning can be is extremely exciting, and I am thrilled that I will be able to share in their education.

I am currently an undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Education program at Mount Royal University.

The opportunity to work as a Literacy Instructor will allow me to advance what I learn in my university courses, and will also provide me with invaluable skills I can use in my future classrooms.
