Therapy services at Avery
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
with Lawrence
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) helps people deal with tough feelings and memories, especially those related to trauma, anxiety, or depression.
ART combines regular talk therapy with different methods like guided imagery and quick eye movements.
Usually, people process and manage memories and emotions with ART in less time than with other types of therapy. This makes ART a good option for those who want to see results quickly.

Hi, I’m Lawrence!
I have been working with kids and young adults for over 20 years as a teacher and therapist. I specialize in Adolescent Identity Development, particularly with gifted and neurodivergent kiddos. I specifically target executive function development strategies for children and teens with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disabilities (LDs) and anxiety. These strategies include social communication, emotional regulation, self-awareness, self-esteem, and resilience.
With my own unique point of view, I also work with parents to help them understand their child from a new perspective. I have combined ADHD and LDs, and by using executive function strategies and fine-tuning my own approach to the world, I have learned to turn barriers into superpowers.
