ADHD Assessment
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is part of the neurodivergent spectrum. Children with ADHD are wired differently, but like neurotypical brains there are things that they excel at and things that need extra support. This assessment will generate a comprehensive, sustainable framework for support for students ages 5 to 17 years.
STARS Literacy Program
Build foundational skills in phonics, deepen reading comprehension and improve writing skills with daily, custom spelling and writing instruction with practice opportunities.
The STARS journey begins with a consultation to discuss your concerns and goals. With intensive intervention, a child struggling with literacy can reach average reading levels by the end of elementary school.
Academic Coaching
These personalized tools and approaches help students understand, remember and use what they’re learning. Through one-on-one coaching, each student develops strategies to fit their unique needs: organizing their thoughts, managing their time, or finding new ways to approach assignments.
We can also discuss post-secondary transitioning, academic advocacy and using assistive technologies.
Counselling and Career Guidance
Lawrence and Carmen offer counselling and career guidance for children, teens and young adults. This includes Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Play Therapy and other traditional modalities.
